Entropion

This condition is typically associated with aging and involves an inward turning of the lower eyelid causing a person’s eyelashes to rub against the eyeball. Patients will complain of a chronic foreign body irritation. They only receive relief when they pull the lower lid down away from the eyeball. In most instances a minor procedure can be done in the office to turn the eyelid back into its natural position.
